Unique hand woven basket from the leaves of the Fan palm which grows in the northern parts of Namibia. Penduka women living there with their families make living by seasonal basket weaving or embroidery work.
Colors are from the natural palm leaves, the contrast is made by dark braun leaves which are dyed by tree roots
To be used for many different purposes in the house for decoration or to put fruits,bread, snacks, bracelets etc on. Washable and very strong
