Kids apron village story in grey and mixed bright embroidery
Cotton apron for small kitchen helpers. This product is made by rural women in Namibia. By means of embroidery they tell their story and process their experiences and problems. Once a week the women come together to evaluate each other's products, hand them in and get new material and thread. Embroidery is possible everywhere; while waiting at the well, talking to the neighbor or baby sitting. Village embroidery designs vary depending on which story the individual Penduka embroidery lady has to tell (village scenes, children playing, fetching water, Katutura street scenes ...). Durable material, 100% cotton, machine washable.Size: 45cm x 52cm. Weight 65 grams. Available in grey with bright colored stitching or royal blue with bluiesh motives
