Penduka is a registered welfare and non-governmental organisation (NGO), situated in Katutura, Windhoek. The organisation was established in 1992 and focuses on economically vulnerable women and other marginalised communities with the aim to foster and develop sustainable livelihoods for its focus groups via training, skills development, production of crafts, hospitality and a community health programme.
 
Penduka acts in the informal settlements and rural areas. Our team in Namibia which works in the Penduka campus in Katutura, consists of a board, 3 management roles (HR, General, Marketing) and more than 150 artisans, including 10 Team Leaders.
