Through radio broadcasting and posters, abused women get in touch with Penduka, where sharing and support brings relief and hope.

Since there is a stigma on Sexual abuse and women contractiong HIV-AIDS , the women do not meet at Penduka centre but rather in a hidden place in Katutura, Windhoeks 'black township'. By networking, we found a local organization assisting with counseling of abused women. Penduka supports the group by skill training, marketing strategies and a special education fund for women who are able to make it to higher education.

We foster other ways of raising money, e.g. by selling solar powered lights, or setting up a Moringa tree garden via Crowdfunding.
