Paula Mentink

I work as a public health nurse for the general health department in Groningen where we work with the homeless and asylum seekers who exhausted legal avenues.

After watching a program on television about the terrible situation for a lot of women in some countries in Africa, I started to look for a possibility committing to try for this situation.

At that moment, I met Christien Roos from Penduka.  At first we started with Women Get Going, and one of the activities is  the financial  supporting  for the women for their studies.  Since January 2016, I am a chairman of the board for Penduka Foundation in the Netherlands.
