Loide comes from Ovamboland, very close to the border of Angola, she was brought to Penduka by her brother who was very worried about her physical and mental health situation in 1992. Loide suffered from severe headaches and was not treated well by her husband. Loide joint Penduka as from the very far beginning and worked herself up as Quality controller.
Very special if you know that she had no hand-eye coordination and did not have a clue how to get yarn through a needle. Loide has four children who are all independent of her by now after she supported them as a single mother through intensive studies and many challenges.
Two of them live in the house she built under the Penduka ‘zero kap’ programm. Every day meters of material and many products pass her hands and eyes to check the quality. Bedlinen is a difficult one since many countries use different sizes for sheets and pillowcases. She is Penduka’s solid rock and she smiles from ear to ear when we mention that.
